Brabus BULLIT

BRABUS BULLIT - The Ultimate Wolf in Sheep's Clothing with V12 Biturbo Engine, 730 PS (720 hp) / 537 kW, 1,320 Nm (974 lb-ft) of Torque and a Top Speed of More than 360 km/h (224 mph).Over the past three decades BRABUS has perfected the art of transplanting large and extremely powerful engines into the bodies of small cars. That path led to numerous world records and entries into the Guinness Book of World Records. The BRABUS BULLIT, built in small-series production based on the new Mercedes C-Class sedan, celebrates its world debut at the IAA 2007 as the ultimate wolf in sheep's clothing.

At the heart of this supercar BRABUS placed the BRABUS SV12 S Biturbo displacement engine. It was originally designed for the world's fastest sedan, the BRABUS ROCKET . The implantation of the 6.3-liter (385 cu. in.) engine into the confines of the W 204 series body is yet more proof for the superiority of BRABUS know-how.

The BRABUS SV12 S Biturbo engine is produced entirely in-house in the state-of-the-art BRABUS engine building shop. Displacement of the twelve-cylinder three-valve engine is increased with the help of a larger cylinder bore, special pistons and piston rods. The conversion further includes re-machining the cylinder heads and fitting them with special camshafts.   The BRABUS engine specialists further developed an entirely new turbocharging system with two larger chargers and more efficient intercoolers. The BRABUS SV12 S Biturbo displacement engine also breathes more feely thanks to metal catalysts with low back pressure and a stainless-steel high-performance exhaust system custom-tailored for the C-Class body.

New engine electronics ensure the perfect combination of maximum power yield and running smoothness. The use of custom mapping and the on-board diagnostics system result in low exhaust emissions that meet stringent Euro IV limits. The BRABUS BULLIT features state-of-the-art traction and stability control systems such as ABS, ASR and ESP.

The turbocharged twelve-cylinder engine lubricated like all BRABUS high-performance engines with ARAL Synthetic motor oil delivers 730 PS (720 hp) / 537 kW of superlative power and 1,320 Nm (974 lb-ft) of superlative peak torque. The latter is limited electronically in-car to 1,100 Nm (811 lb-ft).

Power is transferred to the rear wheels via a massively modified five-speed automatic transmission and a BRABUS rear locking differential with a locking rate of up to 40 percent. It is available with two different final drive ratios.

The performance figures for the BRABUS BULLIT place it into pole position in its class: The car sprints from 0 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 3.9 seconds, reaches 200 km/h (124 mph) after just 10.49 seconds and shatters the 300-km/h (186 mph) barrier after a mere 24.5 seconds. Top speed is more than 360 km/h (224 mph). There are only a very few super sports cars in the world that can hope to match these numbers.

Such performance places special demands on aerodynamic properties, suspension and brakes. The sedan body was optimized for runs beyond 300 km/h (186 mph) in the wind tunnel.

The BRABUS BULLIT front apron was designed to provide maximum cooling air supply for radiators and front brakes while at the same time minimizing aerodynamic lift. For a perfect aerodynamic balance the four-door features a three-piece rear spoiler and a rear apron with integrated diffuser. Front and rear spoilers are manufactured from especially lightweight yet high-strength carbon fiber, baked in an autoclave.

A special aluminum hood with ventilation slots is more than just a visual cue; it also contributes to the thermal health of all components under the hood.

BRABUS rocker panels smooth the airstream along the sides and with their integrated entrance lights make entering and exiting the vehicle safer under low-light conditions.

The slightly understated sporty appearance of the supercar is further characterized by aluminum fender flares front and back, seamlessly molded to the stock body. They add six centimeters (2.36 inches) to the width of the C-Class body.

They also make room for especially wide BRABUS wheels and YOKOHAMA ADVAN high-performance tires. The BULLIT runs on size 9.5Jx19 BRABUS Monoblock S light-alloy wheels and size 265/30 ZR 19 tires on the steering axle. The rear axle features 10Jx19 wheels with size 285/30 ZR 19 tires.

The suspension too was custom-developed to account for the power and the weight of the twin-turbo V12 engine. The sporty yet comfortable height-adjustable BRABUS coil-over suspension features ten selectable settings each for bound and rebound, and ensures safe handling in all driving situations. Sport sway bars reduce body roll during fast cornering to a minimum.

The BRABUS high-performance brake system can handle even the most extreme stress. It features 12-piston aluminum fixed calipers on the front axle that grip vented and grooved 380 x 37 millimeter (15 x 1.46 inches) brake discs. The rear axle stops with 360 x 28 millimeter (14.2 x 1.1 inches) discs and six-piston aluminum fixed calipers.

This BRABUS automobile also offers exclusive individuality in the interior: The standard equipment package includes a fully leather interior hand-crafted in the company-own upholstery shop from the finest Mastik and Nubuk leathers.

The custom BULLIT seats offer a perfect combination of comfort and lateral support. Their carbon-fiber rear covers lend the interior an especially sporty feel. This look is complemented by carbon-fiber components on dashboard, center console and door panels as well as by the ergonomically shaped sport steering wheel and aluminum pedals and shifter.

Brabus ML Widestar

Sporty and dynamic, exclusive and powerful: These attributes best describe the BRABUS WIDESTAR wide-track version of the Mercedes M-Class.

The innovative concept combines striking looks and maximum functionality. Elegantly flowing wheel arch flares on front and rear axle add four centimeters to the width of the 4x4.

The BRABUS WIDESTAR body conversion further consists of add-on parts for the doors, and rocker panels that create a more homogenous transition between the wheel arch flares. Entirely new fascias replace their production counterparts front and back.

The front spoiler bumper with three striking air inlets and four integrated auxiliary headlights lends the M-Class more passing clout and minimizes lift on the front axle. In combination with the rear spoiler, the rear fascia with integrated diffuser and cutouts for the four chrome tailpipes of the BRABUS stainless-steel sport exhaust system provides the perfect aerodynamic balance.

The WIDESTAR from BRABUS opens the door to a new wheeldimensions for the M Class: The new three-piece BRABUS Monoblock E rims in size 11Jx23 were developed especially for the wide-track M-Class version. The sporty and exclusive wheel design features a star in the center with nine strikingly styled spokes, and a forged, highly polished drop center. The new light-alloy wheels are fitted with highperformance tires in size 315/25 R 23.

Optionally the BRABUS wide-track version can be fitted with forged 21-inch Monoblock VI rims or with Monoblock VI, E and S rims with 22-inch diameter.

The BRABUS control module for the standard AIRMATIC air suspension lowers the ride height of the vehicle by some 30 millimeters, further contributing to more sporty road-handling characteristics.

To further optimize active safety the BRABUS WIDESTAR can be equipped with a high-performance brake system upon customer request. It features 12-piston aluminum fixed calipers and vented and cross-drilled 380 x 36 millimeter discs on the front axle. Together with 355 x 28-mm brake discs and 6-piston fixed calipers in the rear it provides the impressive stopping power usually reserved for purebred sports cars.

All available BRABUS performance tunings for the M-Class are also available for the WIDESTAR.

Its well balanced aerodynamic properties make the BRABUS WIDESTAR perfectly suited to serve as the platform for a tuned version of the ML 63. The latter was developed by the BRABUS motor engineers in form of the B63 S performance kit.

The kit provides an increase in power output by 40 hp / 31 kW to 550 hp / 404.8 kW. Simultaneously peak torque grows from 630 Nm to 650 Nm. Vehicle performance benefits accordingly: The sprint from rest to 100 km/h is shortened to 4.9 seconds. The engine tuning and installation of the BRABUS V/max unit increase the top speed from 250 km/h to 275 km/h.

* Fuel consumption city / highway / mix:
 24,1 l / 12,2 l / 16,5 l / 100 km; CO2 emissions combined: 392 g/km.

The one-of-a-kind BRABUS WIDESTAR concept can be complemented with exclusive interior options. Stainless-steel door sills with illuminated BRABUS logo and an ergonomically shaped sport steering wheel are all part of the program as are exclusive BRABUS fully leather interiors made from meticulously crafted combinations of the finest Mastik leather and Alcantara. BRABUS also fulfills individual special requests such as an Alcantara headliner or dashboard covered with the same material. Sporty interior highlights are added by the BRABUS
Checkered Flag Carbon Fiber moldings for dashboard, center stack and door trim. As one of the most innovative pioneers in the areas of multimedia and office-on-wheels solutions BRABUS also offers custom-tailored systems for the WIDESTAR. The production front seats can be optionally equipped with special rear consoles that reach all the way up to the headrests. They house seven-inch 16:9 LCD screens with integrated DVD players. Also available is a version with an electric folding table made from precious wood.

Brabus SV12 S Biturbo

The BRABUS engineers and designers have left no stone unturned to make the roadster even sportier and more exclusive. Equipped with the BRABUS SV12 S Biturbo twelve-cylinder twin-turbo engine that delivers 730 hp / 537 kW, the SL 600 turns into the world's most powerful roadster. 0 100 km/h in 4.0 seconds and 200 km/h after just 10.9 seconds speak to its prowess as does its top speed electronically limited to 350 km/h. This makes the BRABUS SV 12 A Biturbo roadster one of the fastest sports car in the world.

More power by increasing displacement is one of the core philosophies behind the BRABUS SV12 S Biturbo engine.

The displacement of the twelve-cylinder three-valve engine is increased from 5.5 to 6.3 liters with the help of a billet steel crankshaft, larger cylinder bore, special pistons and piston rods. The conversion also includes re-machining the cylinder heads and fitting them with special camshafts.

The peripherals of the twin-turbo engine also play a large role in the engine's power yield. The BRABUS engineers have also developed a completely new turbocharging system with two larger turbochargers and more efficient intercoolers. Metal catalysts with low back pressure let the BRABUS SV12 S Biturbo displacement engine breathe more freely.

Fuel economy: combined 14.9 l/100 km, city 23.2 l / 100 km, highway 10.2 l / 100 km. CO 2 emissions combined: 357 g/km.

Special mapping for engine electronics and on-board diagnostics coordinate perfect interaction of the new components and guarantee an optimal symbiosis of maximum power yield and running smoothness. But that's not all: The engine also offers exemplary clean emissions and excellent fuel efficiency in light of the available power. Like all BRABUS high-performance engines the most powerful engine in the product lineup is lubricated with ARAL Synthetic Oil.

The BRABUS SV12 S Biturbo engine offers impressive performance: Rated power output jumps from standard 517 hp / 380 kW at 5,000 rpm to 730 hp / 537 kW at just 5,100 rpm. Simultaneously peak torque grows from 830 Nm to 1,320 Nm, available from 2,100 rpm. Custom engine mapping ensures that peak torque in the car is limited electronically to 1,100 Nm.

Form and function at the highest level of perfection: The BRABUS aerodynamic-enhancement parts are available for all current SL models and give the SL a sporty yet elegant appearance while at the same time providing aerodynamic benefits. At high speeds they reduce lift on the front axle and thus further improve directional stability.

For the latest SL generation the BRABUS designers have developed a strikingly styled front fascia whose sophisticated shape reduces lift on the front axle. The large central air inlet further optimizes cooling of engine and front brakes. The high-quality Pur-R-Rim BRABUS front fascia with its four auxiliary headlights is designed to be fastened to the original mounting points and thus simply replaces the production bumper.

The BRABUS rocker panels smooth the airstream between the wheel arches and come with a useful extra feature: Pushing a button on the keyless-entry remote or pulling on an inside door handle activates four LED entrance lights on either side of the car. They illuminate the ground next to the vehicle and help to avoid unfortunate missteps in the dark.

The BRABUS designer suit for the new SL is rounded out by the BRABUS rear fascia with integrated diffuser. It too was designed to replace the original part and fits precisely in its place.

Just as important for a customized look are one-piece or multi-piece BRABUS Monoblock light-alloy wheels that can be mounted on the two-seater in various designs and diameters ranging from 17 to 20 inches. The largest possible version for the R 230 series SL features multi-piece BRABUS Monoblock VI, S or E wheels in size 9Jx20 in front with size 255/30 ZR 20 tires. On the rear axle the wheels measure 10.5Jx20 with Pirelli or Yokohama tires in size 305/25 ZR 20.

For further improving the incredible handling of the latest SL roadster BRABUS has developed an electronic module for the ABC suspension that lowers the ride height by some 15 millimeters.

The BRABUS high-performance brake system handles even extreme stress without any signs of weakness. It features vented and cross-drilled 375x28-mm mega-size discs and 12-piston fixed calipers on the front axle. The rear axle features vented and cross-drilled 355x28-mm discs and six-piston fixed calipers.

Luxurious and highly customized interiors are yet another BRABUS specialty. The list of available product ranges from exclusive accessories such as genuine carbon-fiber door sills with illuminated BRABUS logo to ergonomically shaped sport steering wheels with heated rim and shift paddles. Also available is a speedometer with 360-km/h dial and genuine carbon-fiber interior trim in various colors.

In addition the company-own upholstery shop creates especially exclusive BRABUS interiors from a combination of especially soft yet durable BRABUS Mastik leather and Alcantara.

Brabus CLS Rocket

The world's fastest four-door coupe comes from BRABUS. The BRABUS ROCKET, built in small-series production based on the Mercedes CLS model series, is powered by a 730-hp / 537-kW 6.3-liter twelve-cylinder twin-turbo engine, that was implanted with almost surgical precision into the engine bay of the four-door. The performance speaks for itself: 0-100 km/h in 4.0 seconds is just as unique as is the electronically limited top speed of 350 km/h.

In 2006 the BRABUS ROCKET improved the world record to 362.4 km/h. But the BRABUS R&D team wouldn't be the top-notch engineers they are if they were satisfied with that achievement.

That's why in mid-October of 2006 they once more made the trek to the world-famous high-speed circular track in Nardo, Southern Italy . Under the keen eyes of the German Technical Inspection Agency (TÜV Süd) the ultra-performance automobile improved the world record for street-legal sedans to 365.7 km/h.

At the heart of this new high-performance automobile lays the V12 twin-turbo engine from the SL 600. BRABUS fits the engine with a special crankshaft, increases the cylinder bore and installs forged pistons, resulting in a displacement increase to 6,233 ccm. Further modifications include the optimization of the mixture flow in the intake and outlet manifolds of both cylinder heads as well as the installation of sport camshafts.

Power is transferred to the rear wheels via a modified five-speed automatic transmission and the BRABUS locking differential.

The BRABUS ROCKET engine and the entire drivetrain is operated with high-performance lubricants from technology partner ARAL.

Naturally it is essential that the unique performance the world's fastest four-door coupe is capable of can be safely controlled at all times. To do so BRABUS has developed two special suspensions for the ROCKET. The comfort version features air suspension with automatic ride leveling. The sport version comes with a height-adjustable coil-over suspension and gas-pressure shocks with six different settings for bound and rebound on front and rear axle.

In addition the BRABUS powerplant engineers equip the engine with custom-developed larger turbochargers, more efficient intercoolers and a stainless-steel high-performance exhaust system with low back pressure metal catalysts and four tailpipes. Newly programmed engine electronics coordinate all new components perfectly and contribute not only to maximum power yield but also to meeting all current legal emission limits.

After the engine conversion, now also available for all Mercedes-Benz 600 nad 65 models with twin-turbo V12, the BRABUS S V 12 S Biturbo engine becomes the most powerful TÃœV-tested engine from Germany : The engines puts out its maximum power of 730hp / 537 kW at 5,100 rpm. Peak torque is 1,320 Nm, limited electronically to 1,100 Nm, available from a low 2,100 rpm.

Maximum size and state-of-the-art materials characterize the BRABUS high-performance brake system of the ROCKET. The front axle is fitted with vented ceramics discs in size 375 x 36 mm and 12-piston aluminum fixed calipers. The rear axle features steel discs in size 355 x 28 mm and 6-piston aluminum fixed calipers to round out the powerful and fade-resistant brake system.

The giant brakes and the enormous performance necessitate the use multi-piece BRABUS Monoblock S light-alloy wheels with 19-inch diameter. The BRABUS technology partners Pirelli and Yokohama provide the high-performance tires suitable for these high speeds. The optimal tire/wheel combination for the BRABUS ROCKET are 8.5Jx19 wheels in front with 255/35 ZR 19 tires and 10Jx19 with 285/30 ZR 19 on t
he rear axle.

The BRABUS designers custom-developed a front apron for the ROCKET with large air inlets for optimal cooling of oil and water radiators. The shape of the front spoiler and of all other BRABUS aerodynamic-enhancement parts was fine-tuned in the wind tunnel. Not only did BRABUS succeed in reducing lift on the front axle, but also in optimizing aerodynamic drag.

The aerodynamic counterpart to the front spoiler in the rear is the BRABUS rear spoiler lip which emphasizes the rounded design of the rear. But that's not all: in combination with the new front apron the spoiler lip reduces aerodynamic lift, thus further improving directional stability.

Integrated entrance lights are the dominant feature of the BRABUS door sills and the BRABUS rear apron. Pushing a button on the keyless-entry remote or pulling on a door handle activates five LED lights on each side and in the rear. They illuminate the ground behind and on either side of the vehicle to further improve user-friendliness.

The BRABUS rear apron is the perfect backdrop for the four tailpipes of the BRABUS high-performance exhaust system. Its integrated diffuser also contributes to the refined BRABUS aerodynamics concept for the ROCKET.

The interior of the BRABUS ROCKET also meets the highest expectations of the distinguishing customers of one of the world's most exclusive automobiles. Soft and breathable BRABUS Mastik leather and Alcantara are part of the exclusive BRABUS ambiance as is the ergonomically shaped BRABUS sport steering wheel and the speedometer with 360-km/h scale.
